Henry and Janet - About Your Hosts

Henry and Janet moved from the Fraser Valley to the Okanagan with their five children seventeen years ago. Having five children meant that exploring the surrounding environment was the natural thing to do. Now that the children have grown up, and moved on, our love for sharing our home and geographic interests brought us to opening a Bed and Breakfast. Our years here have allowed us to enjoy hikes and haunts, and we would love to direct you to some of these.

Geocaching is a favourite pass time, and Vernon has plenty to offer when it comes to finding illusive caches. Since Henry enjoys fly, and regular fishing, it's not hard to get him to tell you about local lakes, or fishing holes that are isolated and rarely visited. With Janet's love for cooking and baking, you are assured a tasty and hearty breakfast. Sons Joel and Chris enjoy hiking in the Monashees and can point you in the direction of day hikes, or overnight hikes. Brother – in – law Ben enjoys snowshoeing and can advise you on places that he enjoys visiting.

The North Okanagan has a great deal to offer for any interest, Spallumcheen Golf Course is within 2 kilometers, The Rise and Predator Ridge are short drives (pun intended) away.
